“listening to some past early, mummy friends reflect and present their versions of themeselves while talking about their kids….  I realized that talking about your children is like dream theory.  Everyone in the dream is “you” and everything that you say about your children is about “you”.”

Ok, so I kinda, don’t wanta write about this amazing event… but sometime in late June Colony Farm turns into a magical place with bird croquet, games, art and a tea-party with a drag queen.  We loved it, but I don’t want to spread the word too much.

So the young man turned 6 and I feel like we passed into the world of KID.  He is no longer a baby-preschooler but a full-on KID.  Here we are at Granville Island where he had his party at the rec centre and then went to the waterpark.  Part of me just screams and wants to find a blackhole where time stands still and he will always be a baby.  However, learning and loving this boy keeps me going.  He made me a mother and I will always be grateful.

I hope that warm weather is around the corner.  Here’s some pics of the last snow fall.  Poor tulips.
